ABOUT LANGA

Hear It From Me

I am Mpumalanga Zwane, an aspiring Spoken Word Poet and Writer who aims to interrogate the status quo and stereotypes through my words: my artivism. This blog is about courage: the courage to share and invite readers into my reflections and musings. About identity, dignity and other things. I hope you find parts of yourself in my writing or maybe something new to think about. Or just have good ol' fun reading it. Yes, I hope you enjoy what I have to offer: this art.

SpokenWord Rwanda

Mpumalanga's spoken word pieces have a reputation of being one of the highlights of almost any arts shows at ALC. With her poetry and spoken word, she allows us to question some of the beliefs we hold about things which shape our everyday life...

about

Langa's House

Langa's House was created to be a space to share art. It is a vulnerable place too, as many artists know, sharing your work is not always the easiest thing. The hope is that through this space, I will be able to not only showcase my works, but to also showcase the artistic abilities of others, through collaborations or simply just showing their works and crediting them for their efforts.

If you have any works that you would like to be displayed on this website- visual, written or otherwise, feel free to reach out to me on langashouse@gmail.com.
